mV and kV Therapy Catphans®
The Phantom Laboratory manufactures several Catphan® models which are used with radiation therapy CBCT systems.
Catphan® 606 For mV and kV CT
This phantom combines numerous kV test objects used in other Catphan® models, with large diameter slice geometry wires and a high signal MTF point source designed to compensate for the reduced contrast in MV images. By moving key image geometry and sensitometry tests near the center of the phantom, we reduce measurement variations caused by scatter in cone beam and large beam CT systems.
The Phantom Laboratory offers Smári, a web-based service for fully automated analysis of Catphan® Phantom images.

Catphan® 604
The Catphan® 604 has been selected by Varian as an updated phantom to replace the Catphan® 504 phantom. The phantom started distribution in the second half of 2015. The Catphan® 604 phantom is distributed through Varian to assist in the commissioning and QA of the OBI kV imager on its Linac systems. The Catphan® 604 phantom consists of 3 modules that cover all required CBCT imaging tests for TG142.
To assist Catphan® 604 customers, The Phantom Laboratory offers Smári, a web-based service for fully automated analysis of Catphan® Phantom images.

Catphan® 504
The Catphan® 504 phantom was distributed through Varian to assist in the commissioning and QA of the OBI kV imager on its Linac systems. The Catphan® 504 phantom consists of 4 modules that cover all required CBCT imaging tests for TG142. The Catphan® 504 phantom is no longer manufactured as of the fourth quarter of 2015. It has been replaced by the Catphan® 604 phantom (see below).

Catphan® 503
The Catphan® 503 phantom is distributed through Elekta to assist in the commissioning of the XVI kV imager on its Linac systems. The Catphan® 503 phantom consists of 3 modules that cover the Elekta 3D XVI customer acceptance tests and required CBCT TG-142 imaging tests .

Smári Image Analysis Service
The Catphan® 503, 504, and 604 are compatible with Smári, a powerful, web-based image analysis service created by The Phantom Laboratory. Smári delivers automated phantom image analysis in the cloud and maintains measurements in a database for trend analysis, machine comparisons, and historical records.
